Louis Kava founded the Agency in 1941. In 1974 Paul F. Martin purchased the agency from the retiring Mr. Kava. In 2008 Richard W. Schulte purchased the agency from the retiring Paul Martin. Mr. Schulte has merged his existing agency (Leckler, Lemcke & Schulte) to form the new, Kava Insurance Agency.
